If you are reading alt.support.tinnitus because of the thread with the
same name on TSMB, it is important to read a few exchanges written by
Stephen Nagler. While these are his own words, they are not a
comprehensive listing because there are too many examples to post in
one thread. I am sure there are others that have a few phrases to
add.
One thing is interesting, however. Whenever Nagler attacks me
personally on AST, he can't seem to find anything equally
reprehensible to quote. Why do you think that is?
Don't let me tell you what to think. You be the judge by reading for
yourself what he has written on ast:

You are delusional. You do not know the meaning of fair and
objective.

I wasn't playing, Fein. You are a pig and a hypocrite. I have bent
over backwards to be kind and respectful to you. You are part of the
problem here - a HUGE part of the problem here.
It is *I* who has no time for *your* nonsense.
Oh yes, thanks so much for helpling those disabled with tinnitus when
I BEGGED you to be part of the ATA tinnitus disability initiative - to
lend your insight and valuable experience. Thanks SO VERY much - not.
No, you couldn't be bothered.
You make me sick. The contempt you have for me? It's contempt for
you own hyprocrisy.

Or perhaps:
This isn't a church ... it isn't your momma's kitchen table ... it
isn't an ATA Board meeting ... and it's not the annual Cotillion Ball,
either. It's a UseNet newsgroup, for goodness sakes. So stop already
with the condescending lectures on how to behave.

And regarding TSMB:
Ever since a vote of 11 to ZERO voted him off the moderated board, he
has nowhere to go, so he and Chinnis returned here, It's a big loss
for AST for the two of them to be back. They did so much damage here
[just look at the statement above which is one of many that make most
lurkers sick when they see their names,
They should be professional and leave permanently so a support group
will form again. Instead they are like raccoons - very nasty when
cornered.

Many of Nagler's original posts have been deleted by him, but they are
quoted extensively in the archives so people can make up their own
minds about things. It is not for the fainthearted, however.

Terri, I found no messages from his Mindspring address and noted that
the infamous "What I Intend to Tell the Judge" posting is gone.

I know. He has deleted all that despite his frequent protestations
that he doesn't do that. Maybe the medical ethics students are doing
a little internet surfing and finding out about their "teacher". Just
an idea.
