I have  some sacarring showing up on an MRI in the hypothalmus area.
GP said this would not cause tinnitus.
Neoro. said he didnt know when this scarring would have occurred.
Ive had T badly since an assult a year ago.
Im not aware of any other blows on my head to cause this.
Maybe its not relevant to my T.... but

does anyone know of a link between hypothalmus injury and T.?

Probably no connection. The isolated "scarring" of the hypothalamus wouldn't
be due to a head injury. You may have had a minor stroke. But MRIs turn up
small abnormalities that often have no significance and no explanation.

Talk to your neurologist.
