Hello everyone.

This is my first post, but I've been lurking here on and off for a
couple of months now. I have had tinnitus for at least a couple of years
now. The ringing is really starting to be a major problem. It's starting
to interfere with my work and recent promotion.

I haven't really noticed any particular pattern as to when it's at it's
worst, but seems to me that it is at it's loudest in the morning. But
it's also loud at other times in the day as well. And other times it
hardly noticeable at all. Which from what I've read is the way it works
for a lot of people that suffer from t.

I know that it has many causes and am unsure of what causes mine. But I
have a few ideas. Load noise - maybe listening to too much loud music
when I was younger. Sinus problems - I have constant sinus problems due
to allergies. Dental work - I have a couple of impacted wisdom teeth
that I haven't had removed, because they haven't caused any pain yet.
Those are the reasons I have read about that possible causes of my t.

I have just started on "Ring Stop" 4 days ago. I know that the
supplement treatments take a pretty long time to take full effect. So I
am not surprised that I haven't really noticed any difference yet. Has
anyone had any luck with this treatment? I bought it at a local "GNC"
and paid too much. But I also wanted to ask the manager if they have any
regular customers who buy this product. She said yes, she has two
regular customers for it.

Any suggestions on other treatments? And or feedback on "Ring Stop"?

Hi, Ken.  I have chronic sinusitis and have found a few things that are
critical to improving it and keeping infections away.  One is rapid (6
mos. or less) allergic desensitization, especially for molds (Mayo
clinic says 95% of chronic sinusitis is allergic fungal sinusitis).  The
other thing is daily irrigation with a neti pot, water pic attachment,
NeilMed bottle or a pulsatile irrigator, with saline solution and
xylitol.  Also, keeping your house and especially your bedroom and bath
free of dust and mold, getting rid of wall to wall carpeting and putting
allergen barriers on all your bedding helps.  A lot of folks have
reported worse T during sinus infections.

Maybe you should plan to have them extracted?

There are no regular customers here, and no one who's reported on it in
the past years I've been here has had any relief from any such products.

It took many years to develop your unbalance. It may take the same to
rid you of it.

Live as healthy as you can, exercise and get distracted. Walk away
from it.

Easy to say, hard to do until you have done it.

I will specifically address myself to this issue of Ring Stop.  I have
not used this one but I have been using gingko biloba, and i believe
there is ginkgo content in this Ring Stop thing.  The idea is to have
the head blood circulation improved so that whatever causes the T can
be made to recover.

I personally would not give it more than a month to try it out.  I
experienced the softening of my T sound a few days after I had tried
gingko and I have been taking it ever since---one tablet each day.
Thus i recommend you to switch to gingko if you still don't get the
effect when the one month time is up.  However, if you manage to derive
other benefits from Ring Stop, such as helping you with your
constipation problem, if any, or eye sight, etc.  It does not hurt to
stay on.  I think you can get cheaper med with the same effect in
Chinatown.

OK...the second thing you want to do is use a wrapped towel to support
your neck while you sleep.  This can help relax your spine and the
muscle tension in that area.  Try to stretch your jaw forward and see
if that motion can alter the volume of your T.  If it does, then i
think you are suffering from somatic tinnitus or tinnitus arising out
of muscle tension.
