I'm so glad to have found this group and will try to read as much as

Question: Does anyone else have more ringing in the evening? Does
anyone know why?

Hi, I can't say I've noticed any relation to time of day. My T is
almost always silent or unoticeable now, but when it gets louder it's
usually because I'm ill or I've eaten something very high in salicylates.

A lot of folks experience more or louder tinnitus in the evening. (I
do). It's hard to say why. In some cases there is just less ambient
noise about, or you are less distracted by the activities that occupy
you during the day but not at night (work or school), so tend to focus
more on the tinnitus, which makes it seem louder. I think this is
quite common.

Not me. But this would be a great survey question.

Try to use a low pillow or a chiro pillow that supports your neck at
night while you sleep. a stiff neck or tense muscle can lead to more
noise.
