Elly, do you think that stress or a neck injury can lead to reducing
your blood stream in your inner ear blood vessels??, or i might be
pressing a blood vessel somewhere that makes it sound in my ear?

I´ve being feeling certain improvements on my tinnitus, doing just
what I was being afraid to do, play piano again and studying and i
noted certain opression on my cervical nerves while practicing exactly
the same i was feeling when i had the accident, I ask you because I
want to try to use niacin as a  posibility to help improving my
tinnitus more. I never thought that a "silly" and disturbing buzzing
could lead to a sign of so many diseases and problems like cholesterol
or tumors, or just muscle problems :( but at least in my case I´m
convinced that is just a stress and a lot of problems jointed over the
years that started with a very stupid accident.

Stress or a neck injury can have an effect in the neck tissues and/or
muscles.

I'm glad there has been an improvement in your tinnitus.
When you play piano - make sure that you are in an upright but relaxed
position. And when you have finished do some body stretches.

I can't help you with the niacin question. Just be careful how you
take it. Someone in this group had trouble taking niacin. Ask your
doctor's advice.

Tinnitus does not cause cholesterol or tumors. But they may be found
as you search around for a cause.

Most of the time it is a neck or back problem.

the first improvement i noted was the las winter the days before
christmas, i was trying to sleep and had the tinnitus disturbing me, do
you remember hearing a kind of hissing/metalic sound on a bath or a
pipe when there´s a leak? like when you don´t close well the water
valve in the bathroom?and you close it well and you just stop hearing
the leak sound comming within the pipes?, that´s exactly what i felt,
the tinnitus doesn´t stopped completely but that was the first time i
felt different my tinnitus, what is interesting is that i was using a
cap to cover my head cause i was freezing.
