How expensive are the ENT doctors in America?

It appears to me that quite a few American patients here would rather
suffer than to visit doctors.  There can be only 2 explanations; either
the doctors in the US are too expensive or they are as IN-experienced
as the many ones I visited in Hong Kong and China.

Which is the case?

I can't answer for anyone else, but in my case I can't afford to go to
doctors outside my insurance company's list. There aren't a lot of ENT's on
the local list.  I've gotten the best advice so far from a rheumatologist
who is a great diagnostician. And I can't afford to travel to others on the
list in other counties, for instance.
Bein' old, sick & tired isn't a lot of fun in any case but less so
living on Social Security.

Thus the doctors in America have become a previleged class by itself.
No matter why so many Americans go for 'alternative' medicine with
experiences passed amongst each other.

And what the hell are you ranting about now??

It is about why so many American patients here do not *seem* to have
gone to or willing to visit doctors _often enough_ but prefer to get
answers here in this ng.

You should have understood clearly what I 'ranted' from my post because
my post is written in simple English.

You make no sense. Which is it? Are you referring to the cost that
keeps
patients from seeing a specialist (I have yet to see a perfect health
care
model in any country) or that they are "ineffective" in curing tinnitus
(in which there are only treatments in most cases and not cures)?
You think the inability to cure tinnitus is only seen in the U.S. or
are you crazier than I think you are?

This is the wrong newsgroup to talk about health care models if you're
referring about the former and totally naive if you're referring about
the
latter.

DRFRANK,

***In my post, I asked the question and it is people like you who
answer the question.

***I asked ONE question and I myself _attempted_ TWO answers.  If you
think none of the 2 attempted answers is irrelevant, it is your
responsibility to come up with the relevant answer or answers.  But you
have not.  Instead you have come back with a response which is not
relevant to what is asked.  Your response is:"You think the inability
to cure tinnitus is only seen in the U.S. or are you crazier than I
think you are?"

How or what *I* think in terms of the effectivesness in curing tinnitus
on an universal basis is irrelevant to what is being asked.  Your job
in this case is either to admit or deny or to modify the my second
'attempted' answer to what I posted.  YOu should also apply the same
procedure to my first 'attempted' answer.

After spending the time in responding to my post, you still have not
answered the question why the American T patients here in this ng don't
seem that willing, from *my* perspective, to go to visit ENT doctors
but instead would like free answers here in this ng.  I can  tell you
why I spent the time here two years ago.  It was because that bundle of
'experts' here in Hong Kong and China was no damn good.  Then Nancy
from this ng revealed another cruel aspect of reality, which is the
reality of doctor shortage and expensive service in the US.

So, drfrank, what is your answer?  If you could not come up with an
answer, you would be well advised (1)either to sideline this thread or
(2) to treat it as being untrue my observation that the American T
patients here appear to be reluctant to visit ENT doctors.
But you have done neither.

You are not a very good student for exams, drfrank.  Aren't you?
