I want to thank you everybody for all the tips that are giving to me to
find a solution for my tinnitus and I will keep saying anything that i
might find usefull and can help other(s)

I had the habit of smoking for about 14 years (i started about 13 years
old and now i´m 29) and since i born i have some allergic problem on
my lungs that i didn´t wanted to care too much and do a normal life,
but... i have like a month stoping my smoking and i noticed a
difference on my tinnitus volume about 5 days ago, i started to search
what was causing it, fortunately it´s not my work! cause i´m not
having problem as far as i note cause i use earphones now and i don´t
have my tone increased after using them considerably and i learned to
tolerate certain disturbances like the fullness sensation inside my
ears.

Yesterday when i went back from my work I was waiting my mother at the
shopping center playing at the bingo and it was terribly bad the smoke
of cigarretes and even of cigarrs :\ after waiting her i went to a
silent place and i had again my tinnitus high pitch sound at it´s
maximum so i must say that the smoke of the place caused it, today i
recovered again a lower volume of tinnitus and i hope to continue
loweing it down.

as other things must be tried i´ll try to loose weight and check my
back problems as well.

good luck to everybody.

LOL - see bigjon's post on 7 December, in which he says he cured his
tinnitus by taking up smoking! :-)

I think it proves that everyone is different, and there is no
"cure-all".

Nicotine constricts blood vessels and slows down blood flow.  You may
have a circulatory problem.

Try a tablet of gingko biloba each morning with breakfast and see how
you feel after a month.  I experienced the effect after a few days.
