Has anyone ever been prescribed Meclizine to help with Tinnitus? I have
an appointment with an ENT to do more tests, but in the meantime my
physician prescribed me this. While it's normally for people who suffer
from vertigo, he claimed that it's also helped Tinnitus as well.

Anybody have experience with this?

Meclizine helped me a little bit at night but I think it was the mild
sedative properties more than anything else that helped me
to sleep. It didn't have any affect on my tinnitus.
It helped minimally for my dizziness. As with any medication,
different people respond differently so it would worth giving it
a try.

Good luck with your visit to the Ent but don't expect "miracles"
from your visit. Depends upon what may have caused your vertigo
and tinnitus.

The doc put me on it for BPPV. Not sure if it helps with the
lightheadedness or not but the high pitch tone continues.
