Hi all,

I am looking for a good source of sodium listings on the net.  The
ones I have found so far have not been that great.  I've decided to
make this change in my diet due to Meniere's Disease but finding it
hard to do so without proper charts for such.  It would be nice to
know what I can and can not buy before I go to the grocery.  That way
I can skate right by the tempting stuff.  It's hard going at the first
when making this sort of dietary change.

All links are welcome, dealing with sodium content in food and
recipes.  Lots of simple recipes.  :)  I'm finding some of this stuff
here, but it is too slow going for my immediate need.

Thanks for any and all help,
Debora

Go to Salt Free Diet. Also switch to distilled water which takes salt out.
Basically do eat fresh fruit, vegetables, etc. Avoid salty foods - chips,
saltines, Use a salt substitute instead of salt. Lemon works well. Increase
intake of Potassium foods - bananas .
At Howard Gutnick's former ear clinic they have more suggestions on diet.
Howard, I forgot that address .

We have closed our practice - a long story - and so that web site is no longer available.

Thank you Murray,

I was wondering how I would solve the water problem once I found out
there is salt in our tap water.  Distilled will do it nicely.  :)
