Ok it didn't post if you go to alt.bianarys.warez.ibm-pc.oday there is a
program that is sound induced to help neaturalize the ringing This was
shown on discovery channel 2 years ago and is used in the UK requires 1
month of treatment and tricks the brain into deleting the ring

Francis (while not being what the OP was referring to)  my "detinnitiser"
method uses sound therapy, but it makes no claim to 'cure' anything. Rather,
what it seems to do is to keep the part of the hearing system normally
engaged in processing the tinnitus  'too busy' to hear it.
