I sincerely hope that my  laser treatment at Dr. Wilden in Germany will
work. http://www.dr-wilden.de/en_info/32.html

I am having 10 day treatment starting on Nov. 7.  This T is driving me
insane. Thought I had habituated a few months ago but it now seems worse
than ever.... no idea why. AAAARRRGGGHHHH:

So do I... Good luck!  And the more you believe in it, the more it will
work - like any placebo.

Quite honestly, you might as well buy a torch and a red filter and leave it
shining in for an hour to have the same effect.  Whole lot cheaper too.

1 watt of power = 1 joule of energy delivered per second.  The total energy
of your laser treatment is stated as 4000 joules over 3600 seconds,
therefore is delivered at the rate of (4000/3600) watts  ie. just over 1
watt.

The bulb in my torch is rated at  2.2volts @ 0.47Amps =  (2.2 x 0.47) or
1.03 watts or 1.03 joules per second.  That's a pretty good match with the
laser really, and although it does have a more diffuse spectrum, it is still
rich in red light.

Maybe laser treatment does work. But then so does torch treatment.

I usually discontinue any treatment if I don't experience an
improvement after the second, and I would do that regardless of
whatever studies have to say.  I am not sure if there have been
'controlled' studies done on lazer treatment but their results should
be irrelevant to you if you are not getting help from it. I would try
other things else.

The following is what I would recommend given the fact that your
high=tech doctor in German has failed to be of help:
(1)try to sleep without a pillow.  The idea is to allow your body lie
flat to have your head's blood circulation improved.
(2)take a tablet of gingko biloba each morning empty stomached.  Talk
to a pharmacist about this.  Never mind what the 'controlled' studies
have to say on this.  If you don't experience anything after 2 weeks,
just drop it.  But if you do, stick to it.
(3)visit a chiropractor once a week to have your spine relaxed.

See what will happen after a while.

please report your experiences with this treatment in this group.
I am also interested in this treatment.

Best wishes,

Thanks Simon, but what if the noise is in the head?  I am dubious about the
noise being in the ears.

Only about 30% of patients with tinnitus in one study had it from the ear.
