I wonder if deaf people ever get tinnitus?

Wot it says in the header...

Since it's caused by stuff in your ear and signals to the brain, rather
than vibrating air, I wonder if they do?

Anyone know?

Yes! and they cannot mask it wither with external noises.

Tinnitus is created in the brain for your listening pleasure.

A fascinating question.  And if someone deaf from birth had tinnitus,
could they understand what tinnitus was?  Without the common frame of
reference, they might be unaware that the buzzing was tinnitus.  Until
we burn a finger, can we understand pain?

So much of what we take for granted is not what we think it is.

Larry L yelled in my ear:

>for your listening pleasure.

And what pleasure it is!
I know it is, because all around me I see people trying to achieve what
we have.
