I cannot sleep because of the f.cking road drills and SpaceAlien's
beaming information into my skull.
It's so goddamn loud tonight...
My blood pressure doesn't feel off, and even with music on I can still
hear it.

I'm starting to get stressed out because of it now. It hasn't been like
this for months.

Does anyone else go to hearing therapy?

It's pretty good, but when I'm this tired and it's this bad, it's
pretty hard to put it all into the background and forget about it.

It sounds like it should be blocking out all the other noises, but I
can hear the traffic miles away, the house making it's night-time
noises and my own breathing so clearly that it all seems so unreal.

ARRRGHHH!!!

Anyone wanna swop scillia?

OK....calm down.

I suppose you are suffering from:
(1)high blood pressure that is out of control even with the help of
your high tech doctor AND
(2)the maddening tinnitus.  Right?

I once went through it.  It was an US$ONE  doctor in China that managed
to have my blood pressure using 'combination' approach.  That is, I
took TWO different kinds of medicine to have my BP under control.  It
is nothing complicated, but the mentally inferior doctors at the
expensive Adventist Hospital in Hong Kong did not even know about that.
They just kept increasing the existing doze to NO avail.  So go and
talk to a doctor about using the combination approach.  Some BP meds
are ottotoxic.  Hydrochloridethiasize was what I think gave me the
trouble.  It may not happen to everyone, mind you.  Talk this over with
your doctor.

Regarding your tinnitus, have you visited an expensive ENT doctor and
gone through all that fancy tests yet?  What does he say?  In case he
does not have any answer for you, why not try my 'village' advice?
(1)take a tablet of gingko biloba each morning empty-stomached.  Talk
to a pharmacist first about the do's and dont's with this med.
(2)try to lie flat at night.  you could use a wrapped towel to support
your neck.
(3)visit a chiro tomorrow and have your spine relaxed.

Try the above simple 'village device' and see if it helps.

Evening FP.

I've been to a ENT guy before and they diagnosed me as having Tinnitus
and sent me off to the local hospital to have some tests.
What they decided is that my ringing is caused by my having been in a
band for such a long time and having me ears bashed to bits by crash
cymbals and high-pitched guitar.

I could've told them that!

What they did was send me on a weekly course, settling at every three
weeks, to have me listen to a box that shot out a really high frequency
that was matched to the noises in my head at the time...

Somehow it manages to stop the buzzing and squealing for anything up to
a week! It's great, but I don't have one at home that I can 'plug'
into.
Hence the Hearing Therapy.

My ringing isn't too closely related to my BP, I don't think, but now
you've mentioned Gingko Biloba I do remember hearing something that it
is able to help with this cursed affliction.
I trained as an Homeopath quite a few years ago (I completed 2 years of
the course before quitting to go on tour in Europe with my band) and
covered quite a few things that have come in handy.

Thanks for that tip, matey!

I'm now so tired that I don't think low flying Boeing 747's could keep
me awake so I'm off to bed.
Thanks again.
