I got Tinnitus Talk yesterday (The Australian NSW magazine)
Levine is going to investigate pulsatile tinnitus. I quote:
Dr Levine will attempt to track down and record sounds in the ear
canal that are related to the heart beat.... SNIP
If there is no sound then theoretically the pt is neural ???? SNIP
If there is sound then future research.......
Howard, I state here and now that absolutely nothing will come of
this. Oh, maybe a 2-3 page with lots of words, lots of mights and
maybes.
Howard, you have a good background in this field. You are now working
in the body field. You should have lots of access to muscles.
In your clientele there should be people who have tinnitus - they just
don't talk about it.
How about asking a few of them if they could be used as guinea pigs so
you can study their muscle tensions etc.

Ok, I'm clueless about what you would like me to prove wrong. That muscle
tension does isn't associated with tinnitus. I agree with you. It does. But
I don't agree with you that it is the only factor that causes tinnitus when
other "known" causes have been ruled out. You have one tool in your belt, a
hammer. And so everything is a nail to you.
