I was reading up on the effect of vaso-dilatatory medicines and their
use in china and at the university of Genova to treat T.

Since I have been a heavy drinker in the past (but not in recent years)
It was no problem for me getting into a week of daily binge drinking.

I am on vacation...

I started around 6 pm and finished around 3 am every night for 5 or 6
days.

After three glasses of wine my T dissapeared (It re-appeared regularly
the morning after).

I kept on drinking as much as I could (I know how much I can handle).

After a week the heavy piercing T had gone down.

....as a side note...

While in my drunken state I basically chatted up anyone who would care
to talk and told most everyone about my T.

One of these people was a man from sri-lanka who was a cleaning guy for
a nearby hotel.

He has T as well and had an operation done in nearby switzerland (scars
behind the ears) which did nothing for him.

What he DID tell me is that WHEN DEEP SEA DIVING AT A CERTAIN DEPTH HIS
TINNITUS DISSAPEARS...

Aren't hyperbaric chambers under pressure?

... getting back to alcohol.

after my binge I had to re-adjust to normal non-alcoholic behaviour and
regular eating habits. (gained a few pounds in that short week BTW)

I just took a short trip to London to see some musicals and a play.

The sheer mental activity and satisfaction from being in london and
seeing the high-quality shows seems to have regenerated my mental state
somewhat.

I still have the ringing now, but it does not modulate in relationship
to the sounds I hear like before.

it is less intrusive.

Hyperbaric oxygen has been tried. Some German researchers reported results
but no one was able to duplicate it.
I haven't recommended it for my T patients.

On my way back to China, i listened to some violent music and that
helped my t.

I went into the hyperbaric oxygen tank in China last year.  It helped a
little bit but I would not want to go through that again, especially
when it is a small tune.  If it were a large tank with beautiful women
inside, things would have been a bit more tolerant.  Again, it depends
on the cause of your t.

I tried acupuncture as a last resort and it just happened to bingo!  So
nothing works for everyone.  You just have to try out various things to
see what it is for you.

Never mind what the controlled studies say if you find something that
works for you and you only.
