I don't want to go to bed

After enjoying a wonderful peaceful day I find I don't want to go to bed,
even though I feel dead tired.  No more decorating to be done, so no
stretching and bending, and contorting my body, and today, no T!   I hate
going to bed because I always wake up with quite loud T, so what do I do?
Sit up all night, or even every night, or risk sleep?  Does anyone wake up
and it's quiet, and if so, how do they do it?

Whenever I wake up now it's pretty quiet for me Ben.  Didn't used to be!
It's done by playing soft 'violet noise' by the bed. I use a special
generator I made, but I also gave a link to a downloadable .wav file in a
previous post.

However judging from what's you've said before, I got the impression sound
therapy doesn't suit you ??

I am really glad the violet noise works so well for you Steve!  I had a
good, nay great, experience this morning.  The T was loud as usual when I
woke up (yes, I did go to bed :( )  and my partner kindly bought me a black
coffee in bed.  After playing around with our Westie and getting head
butted, I decided to lie on my left side to see if I could quieten the T
down and enjoy some more peace.  I lay there loving every minute for about
40 to 45 minutes, and managed to arise and it stay quiet!  I think it must
mean that either the T would have quietened down today again anyway, or that
I need to lie on my left side for longer than usual, which is what I have
done this morning.   I am hoping this will work on most days now! Fingers
crossed. X

I don't mind some noise, but my partner has difficulty even sleeping with a
fan on :(

I think I'd prefer a reliable 'off-switch' such as yours, to having to
arrange the special methods as I do.  When you lie on your side does the T
dissapear _completely_ or is there still a trace left ?

It is weird, eh?  I can lie down with the T really, really loud, and I
think, no way will this loud ringing cease!  After about 10 to 15 minutes,
it just suddenly goes quiet, as if I have switched it off.  I always feel
totally amazed, and I lie there thinking it *can't* have gone, and really
listen for it, but it ain't there.   I think that is why, even if I got T a
bit, that a lot of it simply must be muscular like Elly states.  I know it
sounds great, and it is, but to have to lie down, and I often drop off to
sleep so don't gain a lot, it can be a bit boring sleeping my life away -
though it is quiet while I am asleep, eh?

I will keep testing myself each morning to see if I can get it to subside,
and stay away.  Normally when I get up, it gets up with me, but I am
wondering if I have been getting up too quickly after it has gone.  I will
let you know what happens over the next few days.  I do have the occasional
quiet day (after the usual noisy start) and this might be one of them, so I
need to test out a longer lie-in for a week or more.

Stretching your spine with that machine I showed the group could help
the blood circulation problem which I think is at least partly
responsible for your t.
