Carmen,
Xanax helps, however, it is very addictive. Further most doctors seem
reluctant to prescribe it for T. There great with the Prozac, Celexa and
other SSRI's. These also help, however, they kill the libido and produce
weight gain.

Not only is addictive, it does not do anything to heal the nerve.
While I do recognize the trade-off between side-effect and reward of
using this medicine, i would say it has its merit during the stage of
the maddening onset.  However, two things have to be taken into
consideration:
(1)the doctor that gets you in should know how to get you out of this
med.
(2)take nerve-repairing medicine too while taking this addictive drug.
While the doctors recommend vitamin B complex, I recommend a
combination of B complex and gingko biloba. once a day in the morning.
Afterwards, give it at least 3 months before consulting the doctor on
how to ease off Xana sllllooooooooooooowwwwwwwwwwwwwly.
