My doctor put me on Celexa which is a mild SSRI. It helped with my Tinnitus
and, also, it helped me sleep. Further, Celexa has lesser side affects then
Zoloft and Prozac and the other more popular SSRI 's.

Good! Stay with what it works for *you*. In the meanwhile, try to
relax. I have oftentimes suspected that tinnitus is a mental ill.

Yes, in many cases it is a mental ill. Something is blocking either
the flow of energy or blood or whatever and the t sound is the signal
that something is wrong. It is not going away simply by its being
masked. Habituation means buying time for something to recover, and
that something in my view is 'nerve'.
I told my doctors that something in my head was moving from side to
side and it was somatic discomfort, and the focal point on the graph
showed that. They had no clue!

It is nothing of the kind.
It is purely physical.
