A very objective article, which demonstrates an underlying principle,
suggests that a medical treatment is a combination of both science and
art!

Notice the extensive use of "may" in this conjecture? Who are "some
physicians" and what are they selling? Acupuncture? It would be very easy
to do a study of acupuncture, Francis. Just have one practitioner put the
needle in the exact spot that helps tinnitus, and the other put it 1/4"
away. The patience would never no which one was receiving the treatment and
which was receiving the pokebo.

The article is not about acupuncture. Read again.
It is about describing a medical treatment as a combination of science
and art.

It doesn't matter about ANY tests Francis - if it works for you, then fine?
I'd eat hoseshit if it cured mine - tests, or no tests.
