Hey all,

I've suffered from tinnitus as long as I can remember, I have no idea how I
got it in the first place at all, I'm 20 year's old nearly 21, the tinnitus
never actually bother's me only when I listen closely at night when it's
very quiet.

I don't let it get me down I just block it out and forget it's there and
that work's, I do worry sometimes that when I do get older that my tinnitus
might get louder but don't like to think about it.

As far as I can remember I've always had a popping noise in both ear's
whenever I swallow, should I be concerned about this?, it doesn't really
bother me I would just like to know if there's anything I could do for it.

Anyway tank's for reading and good luck to everyone with there tinnitus.

Ellis.

Hi Ellis,

Go to http://www.yts.se/english/index.htm
and ask the question there.
This sounds like a dental problem.

Err yes I do, I wouldn't post in a tinnitus newsgroup otherwise.

I have the same thing! I am 21 and for as long as I can remember I have
been able to hear the popping noise (of the eustachian tubes opening) when
I swallow. I can also make them pop without swallowing. I got tinnitus in
my left ear when I was 20. It's not super loud. I notice it in quiet
situations but for the most part I am lucky enough for it not to really
bother me. I went to the doctor and an audiologist. I had fluid in my ears
when I first got it but now I don't and my hearing is fine. They don't know
why I have it and just told me to come back if it got worse or I got other
symptoms! Let me know if you find anything out!
