HI EVERY ONE

I HAVE HAD THIS STRANGE DIZZYNESS FOR ABOUT A YEAR,
WENT TO THE DOCTOR AND HE SAID THAT MY BLOOD PREASURE WAS
OK,
THEN WENT TO AN EYE EAR AND NOSE SPECIALIST, WHO SAID I HAVE VIRTEGO,
THE STRANGE SYMPTOMS I HAVE IS THAT I GET DIZZY WHEN MY EARS STOP UP
AND I HOLD MY NOSE AND POP MY EARS, BUT ONLY FOR A SECOND, OR IF I TRY
AND LIFT SOMETHING HEAVY I GET THIS DIZZY FEELING, BUT QUITS AS SOON
AS I DO, MY EYES SEEM TO SHIFT WHEN THIS HAPPENS, AND LOUD NOISES MAKE
ME DIZZY, CAN'T STAND SOMEONE YELLING ON THE PHONE ETC ETC.

HAS ANY ONE EVER HAD THIS KIND OF PROBLEM, SEEMS WEARD BUT THE DOCTOR
SAID THERE IS NOTHING TO BE DONE ONLY TAKE MED'S TO CALM THE FEELING
DOWN.
AND SOMETIMES WHEN MY EARS ARE PLUGED UP I CAN HEAR MY HEART BEAT.
THANKS
MARVIN

Hi Marvin, check out the posting on Superior Semicircular Canal Dehiscence
on 11/02/2005 in this NG.  If you can't see it let me know and I'll forward
you a copy.  I'm not suggesting you have this condition but I've spent years
trying to convince Doctors that there was a real problem and they have only
now found the cause - keep at them.

Regards
Chris

I HAVE HEARD OF THESE EXERSIZES BEFORE BUT NEVER REALLY KNEW WHAT THEY
WERE, EVERY PLACE THAT I HEARD ABOUT IT WANTED YOU TO SEND THEM MONEY
FIRST, I AM GOING TO TRY IT , IT MAKES SENCE TO ME, MY NECK IS ALWAY'S
SORE, AND I SET ON THIS STOOL MOST OF THE TIME, WHEN I AM NOT IN THE
OFFICE,
I DO HAVE RINGING IN MY LEFT EAR, IT HAS BEEN THAT WAY FOR THE LAST 40
YEARS BUT I HAVE LEARNED TO LIVE WITH THAT, THAT WAS CAUSED WHEN I WAS
IN  THE SERVICE FROM THE TANKS GUN'S GOING OFF .

If there is a "loose" round window membrane, you can have this symptom and
it can be corrected by fixing the round window.
If there is excess fluid pressure in the inner ear, loud sounds can make you
dizzy.
