Hello:

Just wondering if anybody has any experiences while using Claritin.

I started having muscular tinnitus 3 days ago, a couple of hours after using
Claritin 24. It lasted for 4 days non-stop. Thumping on my right ear at
about 100 times per minute.

My doctor prescribed Nasacort after a visit, and the tinnitus disappeared.

I am puzzled ...

Ben:

Nasacort is some kind of allergy med. So far my tinnitus is staying away. I
am keeping my fingers crossed.

Nasocort is an excellent cortisone nasal spray. It shrinks the nasal
membranes, esp if it is allergy, and would open a blocked eustachian tube.
Perhaps your T is due to blocked eustachian tube, not a common finding.
