Hi all,
I have "reactive" T and hyperacusis.
I had exactly the same effect after the tympanometry and reflex
testing , as described by few other persons in another thread.
It PERMANENTLY worsened my tinnitus.
Just an advice to anyone, avoid it. I had decided to not let him do
any sounds to my ear but he was too "fast" :|

Just wondering, why are these tests done as a routine to all T
patients if for, say 10%, it will permanently decrease the quality of
rest of their lives by worsening the T..

Rgds,
Zag

We perform tympanometry on all our tinnitus patients - have never had any
patient say it made them worse.
