LOl..a double thread...must be a sign.
Hey, Jenny, you know, just as a tiny thought here, most TRT clinicians will ask
patients to take a six month break from these chat groups, internet boards, etc
etc. to help with the habituation process.
Any mention of this from your provider?

Good for you! You must simply turn your back on the tinnitus and let it wither
away..........

Hi Murray...........there is one MD here doing BAHA units, R. STerling Hodgson.
I went to a presentation and a couple implantees were there and I asked if
they had T but neither did prior to the surgery so wasn't much use with regard
to your question.
I would think that it might be similar to hearing aid impact on T which is
about 10 percent, according to the literature. (One in ten who wears a hearing
finds their T disappears).

Dear Oregon,
Have you seen any results from BAHA suppressing Tinnitus? I think I am seeing
about 60% improvement, but not ready to recommend it just for T alone.

>From personal experience with the BAHA (I've had the unit for 3 months
now) it seems to be neutral for my tinnitus while wearing it.
Interestingly though, don't know if this is just me, my tinnitus
is much louder after immediately removing the BAHA and it takes
a few hrs (sometimes more) for the "t" to settle down. Any theories??
Disappointed that it doesn't seem to help when I need it the most,
such as in crowded places, especially attending parties/restaurants.
