Hi,

I'm 6 months into my Tinnitus.  However, I noticed now that if I bite
down (clenching my teeth together), the Tinnitus seems to disappear.
Oddly enough, if I open my mouth as wide as I can (kind of like when
saying "ahhhh" at the doctors office), the Tinnitus seems to amplify a
bit.

>From the quick browsing I've done, it seems to me that people with
Tinnitus usually amplify their Tinnitus by clenching their teeth.
Totally opposite for me!
Anyone can relate, shed insight?

Thanks.

Mine changes when I do this too.  It seems to be a little louder whether I
clench or stretch.  It does not change when I move my head in an exaggerated
roll.  The most remarkable change comes when I plug my ears to exclude
environmental masking.

Fortunately, I've habituated my T so I'm unaware of it unless I give it my
attention.  Wow, it is really loud and raspy today.  Thanks a lot.  :-)
