its been approx 2 weeks since I started TRT.......absolutley remarkable!!

It is just like they say, I hardly hear the noise and when I do it doesn't
distress me anymore.

I know my posts have been up and down...just like my tinnitus has been, but
I feel like I can actually have a life and have tinnitus now..where as
before I thought my life is over.

I know I will always get critical people like santa who can't believe that
such an about face is possible, but Im telling you it is. I think I had to
hit rock bottom first (hence the suicidal tendancies) before I just faced
the fact I had tinnitus, and now I have found out I dont have to "learn to
Live with it" as i was told by so many MD's from the start....things are
looking up...yes I ma have the occasional setback..but geez, I'm only human.
The occasional setback doesn't mean I am manic.
I think now I have joined th ranks of people who come to this board to help
others, at first you think noone can help you. and you think well there
tinnitus can be as bad as mine, but eventually it is a big help.

Thanks to everyone.

Have a GREAT christmas.

Good for you- it means you have hopefully habituated to your tinnitus
but you have "learned to live with it".  Fast results with TRT
regardless.
I wonder if this is typical of TRT.

Your ears are different from one another, rather being identical, which would
be expected in normal hearers....
