Does any doctor know what this substance is?  It was an intravenous
injection I received from a neurologist in China.  The first shot
produced very good effect or a lot of silence, but the subsequent
shots were less effective.

Tks.,

Yes, Francis.  It is used to treat hypertensive rats.  More at this link:

Thanks.  My neurologist thought that the *cause* of my t was due to
blood flow being hindered somewhere.  For a while I thought he was
right but now I think he was wrong.

this is a product used to dissolve clots. If you ain't got a clot, why use it?
I can assure you that the FDA has not approved its use for tinnitus.
Personally I think it is highly unethical to experiment with a MAJOR unknown
drug on unsuspected patients where the consequences can be tragic.
Were you told of the possible complications of this drug?
Were you told of any studies done on the safety of this drug?
were you told of any studies as to the benefits of this drug for tinnitus?
It is up to you if you want to be an unwitting experimental antimal but
.............
Search for a cure doesn't mean that you jeapardize your life on untried drugs,
especially ones that have MAJOR systemic effect.

The neurologist in China used that on me as he suspected the *cause*
of my tinnitus was due to clots in the blood vessels.  He made that
conclusion based on the electrophalic-graph which showed a focal point
moving from side to side. He was wrong, looking back in retrospective.
The focal point was due to a nerve compressed somewhere in the spine.
Another scientist in this group made a comment based upon what I told
him on that chart that I was suffering from seisure-related tinnitus.
Now, that red-spot/somatic discomfort phenomenon is more than 90%
gone! And I am off medication(both betahistine and lasix), thanks to
my courage in trying out acupuncture at www.yongsheng.ca.

Before the neurologist in China used it on me, he told me not to use
aspirin at the same time and to quit going to the oxygen chamber.
That is all he told me.
My ENT doctor in China went along because the herb solution, though
very safe, was too weak to do the job.  Both of them were wrong in
their diagnosis of my t.  It was finally an acupuncturist in the city
of Vancouver that stopped the nerve discomfort in my head.  When I was
in China last year, I never tried the acupuncture because of all that
advertized 'controlled' studies writen on in Dr. Nagler's website and
quoted around by the American research scientists in alt.
