I have from time to time brought up my experience in which a couple of
individuals that I have met did get their tinnitus _cured_. The
reaction from this group is either disbelief or cynicism.
The following is a person I met while I was working as an expat in
China last year. His name is Jung. He does not have an email address
but has a phone 86-755-26825097. He was rushed to hospital by his
doctor as soon as he experienced tinnitus. The treatment he went
through was a combination of hyperbaric oxygen chamber and intravenous
injection. I know the name of that solution in Chinese but not in
English. It is extracted from a plant root.
Since Murray was in China giving lectures, he could get through his
associates in the medical profession in China to talk to this person.
Afterwards, Murray would tell us what he thinks. Anyone of you is
welcomed to call Mr. Jung, provided you or your friend could speak
Chinese.
Another person I met in China also got her tinnitus cured by
intravenous injection. She was a GP I visited. She was the one that
urged me to try. One ENT doctor that prescribed this method to me
indicated this method is more effective for newbies than old ones.
Not all the persons that I met got benefits by going through the
above-mentioned treatment. But intravenous injection seems to be the
mainstream method used by the hospitals in China for tinnitus. Given
the complexity of the causes of tinnitus and the motive for more
'business', usually a doctor in a _large_ hospital in China would put
his patients who could afford to pay through a wide range of
treatments. The latter include: betahistine, duxaril, intravenous
injection, hyperbaric H2O, accupuncture..., in the hope that somewhere
in the process the cause of the patient's tinnitus is touched.

I will be looking into this area as I am planning to visit China for a tinnitus
seminar in the near future.

When i told the audience in alt, they disbelieve and suspect that i am
promoting something Chinese. You look into search engines. Quite a
few European doctors use intravenous injecting to smooth out blood
flow in order to help t patients recover. Intravenous injection is
almost standard treatment practice for tinnitus in China as those
doctors subscribe to the blood flow theory.
