What is the scientific explanation for an intermittent T?

There can't possibly be one single answer to this question to fit every case.
In my case, it's due to more than one thing.  My T is related to infectious
disease affecting my nervous system, but it's rarely noticable unless I get
sicker or I eat a meal high in salicylates.

Lot of discussion about this Francis.  Go to Google and search for
"intermittent tinnitus".
