Well, I have never had this before.  My t is rather noticeable today with
the low pressure system in my area.  But, now I have a thumping sound as
well.  Off and on....not constant.  What's causing this?  It doesn't change
the T...just feels weird.

I've had a "thumping" before but it was entirely unrelated to my tinnitus.
I think mine was a rapid-fire series of spasms as I could both hear and feel
them.

That's what mine is doing too.  I feels like slight pressure from inside
...pushing out on the ear druum.. This will happen maybe 3 or 4 consecutive
times, then it stops. Make sense?  Almost the same sensation as when your
ears 'pop'.

Yep, almost but not quite.  I'm thinking Jim can tell us what this is.
Happened to me just the other day.  I was sitting at my computer answering
some mail when along came this rapid series of 20 or 30 thumps in my right
ear.  Amusing to say the least.

Yes, it is amusing.  You don't expect it.  I was reading some mail when it
happened...made me pause and think...."hmmmm, what was that?"  It left
me..... just as quickly as it came.
