humming?

extremely low pitched humming type tinnitus after holiday, and very
stressful return journey. Could this be a neurological hum, or impacted wax
ie, mechanical in nature. I'll get to the doc tommorow to check for wax.
It's not nice, but interestingly the oppressive hum is actually cancelling
the regular high pitched  TV whistle sound.

I actually notice the hum less lying down, and it's allmost like I am half
thinking it's audible, and half HEARING it. Alot like a huge diesel engine.
