Thanx for the article.
I found the following bit of trivia very interesting:
"recent studies in the Archives of Otolaryngology Head Neck Surgery and
the American Journal of Rhinology show that the medical cost for a
person with chronic sinusitis without surgery is $921 per year which
includes medications and physician visits. If job income loss is
included, the annual cost soars to $1,539"
If some 30 million people suffer from chronic sinusitis, then chronic
sinusitis costs the United States tens of billions of dollars per year.

My last visit which was an office call and consult ran $1579 at Ann Arbor
so I think this is a low estimate on their part. I go once a month,
sometimes more and this is the charge each time. Trudy.
