Hi

First I want to thank you for posting responses to the group Dr.
Grossan.  You clear up a lot of misinformation.

Couple of questions about my condition:

Since my CTscan showed no inflammation or infection but my allergy
tests showed quite a few severe reactions, could most of my symptoms
(fatigue, very low grade fever in the; evening, headaches) be caused
by the ever present allergies in Texas?  And if the allergies were
causing inflammation, wouldnt that also show up on the CT scan?   I do
not get to meet my ENT until Monday to ask these questions or see the
results of my blood work he did to rule out autoimmune stuff.

Would a complete sinus CT scan like I had show if there were any
infections in the teeth roots/gums in the regions of the maxillary
sinus or would that have to be seen on dental xrays?  Or could dental
problems cause my symptoms.  Ive made a dental appt and will also
discuss this with my ENT.

Thanks,
David

Allergies don't show up on CT sinus x rays unless they show pale boggy swollen
turbinates.
Allergies as a rule do not cause infection are fatigue is only secondary to
excess sneeezing or lack of sleep.
Fatigue is more likely to be due to chronic infection or sleep apnea. Sinus CT
x rays do not show standard dental problems, need dental X rays for this.
For fatigue you alos neeed genter check up - hemoglobin, white count, etc.
