I had surgery around 2 years ago on my sinuses, I did have relief for
about 3 to 6 months.  Now it is back with a vengeance.  My symptoms are
fatigue and a lot of pressure on my cheeks.  What drove me to the first
surgery and may make me go again is the intense tooth pain that it causes.
It feels like every tooth in my head has an infection.  Right now it has
just started to get to my teeth and I don't want it to get that bad again
but surgery sure seems like a temporary solution.  Has anyone found anything
that can help me out.  The Doctors have given up on the anti-biotics as they
don't seem to help.  I have even tried a home remedy of garlic juice and
water using an eye dropper.  I have purchased an air purifier and have tried
about every over the counter medication available.  About the only thing I
am using now is a spray from the Doctor along with saline spray.  Any
suggestions will be greatly appreciated as the quality of life sure has gone
down since this started.  Thanks

Dwayne, please e-mail me privately so that I can suggest a possibility
to be explored.

As Dr. Bernie Siegel put it:  "You have a right to FIFTEEN doctors'
opinions."

In my case, I found that the vast majority of doctors were clueless as
to how to treat me properly.  I had to go to about ten or twelve
different doctors before I found one or two who knew what to do.

So if your current doctors have given up, you need to find some other
doctors who won't give up.  It's as simple as that.

What exactly was the surgery that was done? Unfortunately most comments
on this group don't describe the procedure that was done. This is of
interest to me because I've had surgery recommended before but no clear
explanation of what was to be done.

One possibility that bears exploring is your tooth pain. Have you
explored the possibility that your sinus infection has a dental origin? This
happened to me - I had an oroantral fistula resulting from an extraction
several months earlier - cause an awful infection - dreadful smells coming
out of my nasal cavity, caused by anaerobes that migrated up into my sinus.
That was when I surgery recommended. My periodontist found it and repaired
it. It's a possibility . . .

I don't think it's origin is in the tooth pain, the tooth pain was the last
straw last time that sent me for surgery.  The surgery went in with a scope
to cut out the bad parts, at least that is what I was told.  I could tell a
few months after the surgery that it was coming back because my nose was
starting to burn.  The next thing is it progresses to my cheeks hurting and
then finally the teeth all ache.  My nose and cheeks have been hurting for
about a year but the fatigue really started coming on around May or June.
Now in the last month the tooth pain is starting again.

Hello,
You mayhave Candida in your saliva glands so go here:
http://www.mall-net.com/mcs/afung.html
Since Mayo Clinic found that 96% of sinus trouble is
due to fungus infection go for broke on the issue,
however that doesnot rule out the bacteria infections
that you will pick up at your doctors office. They
are usually Staph.
Lotramine soothed on your checks and lips will help "glands",
however the digestive system remedies at the local Health
Food Store is what will save you in the end. You must keep
your digestive system in perfect condition!!!!! Think garlic
and "real" yogurt (organic) . . . Real Listerene - watch
for new tooth pastes . . . Brush your teeth every time you
eat . . . and right before going to bed. Drink lots of water.

Thanks, I am going to bring up the point that I have been reading showing
that possible causes could be related to Fungus.
