Just to clear a few things up Re: hydromedonline.com after a little
research it was discovered prior to recent changes the portion of the
hydromedonline.com web site that requested credit card information was
simply entered into a cgi-bin form resting on Dr. Grossans company's
web site itself.  Only the authorization was handled via a 3rd party
secured server this is not a secured transaction.  Any portion of a
web site that requests actual credit card info (numbers) needs to be
on a secured server with some form of encryption to minimize that
chance that someone can pick up the credit card info via many popular
hacking methods.  A secured web site is recognized by https:// in the
URL NOT http:// as was evident on the HydroMedonline.com at the time
may credit card info was entered.

Dr. Grossan owes anyone that entered a credit card on his web site an
apology at the very least for misrepresentation and a correction on
his current order form that transactions may now be secured but were
not previously. Being misled once, I for one would not risk it.

You're not alleging, that this lack of encryption had any role in your own
case, though, right?
