Hey Steve - we're adversaries from *.politics, but I guess we share sinus
problems. This "odor" you refer to  - is that the typical VSC's - the
hydrogen sulfide type spell that occurs? Were your cases of sinusitis
unilateral or bilateral? I have a unilateral infection complete with those
unpleasant smells. Trying to track down the source.

Don't worry about it.

I don't only have sinusitis, I also have a kind of chronic bronchitis
caused by years and years of sinus infections.  That inflammation in my
lungs is made much worse by air pollution.

Chronic respiratory disease can make an environmentalist out of the most
doctrinaire right-winger (like me!).

Well, like they say,

a conservative is a liberal who has been mugged
a liberal is a conservative who has been laid off

My sinus infections are *always* unilateral--always on the left side of
my head.

Yep, come to think of it, that odor does smell a bit like rotten
Limburger cheese.
