I have been diagnosed with sinusitis, but do not have any yellow or
greenish nasal discharge.  I was wondering if anyone else has experienced
a similar situation.  Any input is appreciated.

Sure but what  *are* your symptoms.

think of cilia as tiny oars that propel the mucus to the right direction.

Doc., your mention of the cilia as tiny oars, just caused a flash of Ben
Hur to zip through my mind.   "...We keep you alive to serve this ship;
so row well, and live."   ;-)   ...Jon

My symptoms include fever, fatigue, malaise, pressure in ears, and most of
all this weird tightness/pressure in my cheeks.  I was given amoxicillin
and started to feel better, but the tightness in my cheeks did not go
away.  Since I finished the amoxillin, I got sick again.  I am going to
have a CT scan done later this week.  I just wonder if I have been
diagnosed properly.

The CT scan will tell all, or at least a lot.   Ask the doctor to show you the
films themselves (not just the radiologist's report) and point out any
abnormality in them.  If he/she does not want to do that, he/she is not an
expert in sinuses and you need to borrow  the films themselves (not the report)
and take them to a sinus specialist (e.g at a major University Medical Center).

But yes you can have sinusitis with no colored drainage - it could be all
bottled up in there, or it might just b inflammation with little or no patent
infection.

If all else fails, ask about Wegener's granulomatosis or similar
autoimmune vasculitis
