After this humid summer I have a bad sinus infection.  Does humidity
it self cause swelling in sinuses? Or is it the molds.  Anything extreme
bothers my sinuses -too dry or too humid.

Read my other post. Keep the humidity around 40%. Do not let it go above
45%. For me 35% is perfect. Im sinus problem free for almost a year now.
I no longer take claritin zrytec flonase, rinocort, antibiotics, ect.
dustmites, mold ect love humidity. Keep it low, but not under 25%. Also
cut down on milk, wine cheese. Good luck

Just the molds.

If I run ventilation continuously I am fine.

Depends on where you live. If the humidity is say 35% the ventilation
would be fine. But I cant do that. I did that last year and had many
problems. Now I just keep the humidity at about 35% and air out the
house when pollen, mold ect is low. Hope that helps
