I just had FESS on Wednesday. For irrigation in the post-op recovery
period, has anyone used a Grossan irrigator? I'm concerned that the
pulsating and vibrating might cause more post-op nosebleed.
So I switched temporarily to a plastic squeeze bottle syringe
irrigator--SinusRinse.
For those who use the plastic syringe method, what's the best way to
keep the thing sterile? Alcohol? Antibacterial soap?

all surgeries are not alike. you MUST follow your doctors instructions. In my
practice we vary instructions with each patient. NEVER do ANY procedure or
medication without first checking with your surgeon.
