They stopped making Nasacort, and only make Nasacort AQ now. The plain
Nasacort worked great, but the AQ version has Benzalkonium Chloride in it.
I have other samples of sprays but they have Benzalkonium Chloride in them
too. Rhinocort doesn't but has sodium benzoate in it to which I am orally
allergic. I think that I tried Rhinocort once before and my nose swelled
inside, but I guess I will try it again if there is no other choice. I
tried the Nasacort AQ and I got sinus symptoms and a stiff neck, but that
may have been a cold. I will try it again. The plain Nasacort doesn't
bother me at all. Are there any other options out there that don't have
Benzelkoniam in them? I already irrigate and have had sinus surgery, so
need the spray to keep my allergies under control. Why do they use
Benzalkonium Chloride in so many sprays when people are allergic to it? I
have one old nasal inhaler that is half gone and then I don't know what to
do if I am allergic to the others. Does anyone have any suggestions or
help?

You can use the Emcur Nasal Spray - no preservatives or additives,
just an isotonic saline solution.
