Today the nose is slightly congested, I sneeze and cough
occastionally. I feel a little weak.

Is it more often recommended to stay home and rest or, if you are
someone who worksout (aerobics and free weights), to go to the gym
when in this condition?

indeed doctors often give the advise to stop exercising when you are sick or
have a flare up.
this is, because the body needs the energy that is has to fight the flare
up, instead of using this energy for exercise.

Geez, David....  What would you normally do if you caught the flu?
...A person can become quite sick from having an infected sinus flare
up (fever etc.) ....Don't make matters worse. Help your body to help
itself.    ....Jon
