I have been suffering from chronic sinusitis for just over 6 months
now, main symptoms being a daily headache. Have tried numerous
different solutions (antibiotics, nasal sprays, sudafed etc) including
a bulb-syringe type irrigator, all with no success.  I put off the
purchase of the Grossan Hydro-pulse because of the cost but got to the
stage where I was desperate for any solution so I eventually got one.
I have been using it now for about 10 days and for the last 3 days
have had no headaches !!!!  Success at last - I think !

However, I now have a problem with my throat as it seems that now my
cilia(?) have started working again they are draining my sinuses into
my throat which is giving me hoarseness and the difficulty of clearing
my throat.  It is almost like the mucus is lodged in my throat and is
difficult to remove.  Has anyone else experienced similar problems and
will they go away as my sinuses improve or need I try something else ?
(By the way I've eventually got an appointment with an ENT specialist
next week - it only took 3 months - yes I live in the UK!!)

If anyone has put off the purchase of the hydro-pulse because of cost
- as I did - it is definitely worth it;do it now, it works!

I actually tried to buy one a year or so ago but their web site
wouldn't work right.

I don't know your exact situation but yes, once the cilia start moving a lot of
old pus can come out. Included with your Hydro Pulse are throat irrigators. you
can use those to remove the mucus that is coming into your throat. Daily use of
the throat irrigators ofter clears hoarseness as it helps the drainage.
for hoarseness, don't gargle. Steam is good, but with your tongue out.
Please re read the instructions in the Hydro PUlse booklet about tea, etc.

I don't know about the UK but in US the cost of the Hydro Pulse is less than an
antibiotic Rx and about the cost of a month of  cortisone nasal sprays.
Also, some insurances now cover the cost of the hyddropulse.
