I have a bad root canal which I am scheduled to have removed.  The
root canal is infected and I think is the cause of my sinus problems.
In fact I seem to remember I never had an allergy problem until i
visited a dentist years ago and had the root canal in the first place.

Will post more info if i can document results.

It can indeed  be the cause, but it is not automatic that it is.

I recently had a tooth with a bad root canal removed. The tooth was rotting
in the gum and a piece of the a drill bit or "some other foreign object was
left in the tooth. The symptoms were allergy type symptoms and facial
grimaces.  I went to an allergy specialist and have no allergies.  I also
had sinus surgery that did not help the problem. One side of my face is
badly inflamed.  The inflamation is still there and so is the facial
grimaces especially when I try to chew.  My eyes shut and I squint a lot.
I have been instructed by the allergy specialist to go to my dr. and try
antibiotics or anti inflammatories and he told me that it will take months
for this reaction to clear up.  I will post results.

I have been having teeth/sinus problems. Try looking into cavitations. I do
not have a lot of info on them but this website might help:
www.drshankland.com. Hope it helps.
