Perhaps the antibiotic has killed off some of your good digestive bacteria that
you need in your intestinal tract. Try some acidophilus tablets/capsules, or
good yogurt with *multiple active* cultures.
>>For 2nd late winter in a row Im suffering from sinusitis and
prostatitis.Im urinating more frequently than usual but Im having more
bowell movements at the same time, are bowell movements and prostatitis
related? I feel I still have mild infection and after having just
finished a round of zithromax, my bowells are wreaking havoc as they are
moving so much, I feel like the infection is getting better tho.Ron

Sue's suggestion is good.
I would also like to warn that if you already have an enlarged/inflamed
prostate, decongestants can worsen urination problems further. Even
topical decongestants like Afrin can do this because enough of it does
get into your bloodstream via your nose.
Ditto for common asthma bronchodilators. I had to stop using albuterol
because every time I took it I was unable to pee until it wore off. I
switched to Maxair which isn't as bad in that regard.

not only is taking excess antibiotics leading to increased breast cancer, but
also to increased and more difficult urinary tract infections!

I also heard that due to all the antibiotics, you have a greater risk of
resistant infection if you're bitten by a human than if you're bitten by
a pet. Because thanx to all the antibiotics we take, many of the
bacteria in our mouths have become resistant.
