I believe he *drank* the performance enhancer fluid and then enclosed
himself in a sealed cylinder of the green gas.

Seriously though- He floods his sinuses, all the way up into the
frontals (I guess) by putting the head in an "upside-down" position,
using a HydrogenPeroxide/baking soda/water mix to kill infections.
