potent mucolytic to cure glue ear?

hi there,

does anyone know any potent mucolytic that can cure glue ear?
currently i take salvotran (ambroxol) and there's not much result,
though i experience my phlegm becoming softer, but glue ear persist...

Ambroxol is an expectorant that's not available in the U.S.

I never heard of salvotran. Perhaps it doesn't exist here in US, I see you
are in Phillipines. I never heard of glue ear, perhaps I have "glue nose".
(Can an ear be clogged with mucus? I know they can become clogged with wax,
but that isn't mucus, is it?)

The only mucolytic used here is guaifenesin, and there are doubts about its
efficacy. I'm not sure there are any real good mucolytics.
