I've used Ephedra in the past, as prescribed in Dr. Ivker's book, for
reduction of inflammation. With the US Fed Gov moving to ban Ephedra, what
can I use as an equally effective replacement?

Ordinary Sudafed (pseudoephedrine), available in every drugstore.
Sudafed is basically a synthetic and somewhat safer form of the Ephedra
herb you've been using.

Keep an eye on your blood pressure and cardiovascular system.
And do NOT take anything else with it that could stimulate your
cardiovascular system even more.
