I have a painful bump in the roof of my mouth that seems to be linked
to sinus discomfort.  It seems to calm down and flatten out while I'm
sleeping but raises up and gets aggravated during the day (esp. when
eating).  It's about the size of a bee-bee (as in bee-bee gun) and is
slightly white in color.  I've had it for a few months but it seems to
be bothering me more now.

Any ideas?

i'm not a doc, but it sounds like probably just an irritated spot on
the roof of your mouth that gets aggravated when something touches it
(while eating, drinking). the fact it's been there for months though
doesn't seem right. i would go to an ENT specialist and have it looked
at. i had a 'wart' on my uvula, but they told me it was nothing to be
concerned with and that set my concern to rest.

I would get it looked by a doctor or dentist at as it may be infected or be a
sign of another problem...
