Omega-3 fatty acids are anti-inflammatory. A friend with rheumatoid
arthritis who failed on strong anti-disease drugs has done well on 25
GM daily.

I've been taking 4 GM a day for a long time, but I'm wondering whether
increasing this might help, and if anyone takes higher doses.

Dr. Robert Ivker ("Sinus Survival") recommends omega-3 fatty acids from
fish oil as a remedy for excessive postnasal drip--as long as that
postnasal drip is clear and not discolored.

If it's discolored, then it's likely the patient has chronic sinusitis;
and treating just the postnasal drip will prove inadequate.
