My condition must not be (chronic) any more. After three and a half years
without much let up, now I only use steroid spray maybe five or six sprays
per month.
It could be that I went for many months without smoking and take
Diphenhydramine Hydrochloride once or twice per week to help sleep.
Now my nose is almost back to normal and the polyps are still there but too
small to be an issue any longer. So far about 2 1/2 months CLEAR NOSE!

Hey Jamfer, congrats! What steroid spray are you using?
Bausch & Lomb Flunisolide .025% nasal solution. with .01% Benzalkonium
Chloride preservative but has fine mist with good coverage (I learned not to
sniff in while spraying) as it goes down in my throat a bit.
It says not to exceed eight sprays per day each nostril. I use now, maybe
one spray per week, usually only one side or the other.
I still have 2.25 bottles (enough for over a year at that rate). I haven't
use saline or irrigation at all, for many months.
I got it from the VA no copay, nice.

It feels great when you finally have control of your health. I also
used a steroid plus a few other things including a daily lavage for a
while. I still have a very runny nose most mornings but I can live
with that as long as I have enough kleenex.
